Abstract

Buwun Mas Village is one of the villages in Sekotong District where a lot of people get PKH social assistance. PKH is a program of providing conditional social assistance to poor families who are designated as PKH Beneficiary Families (KPM). PKH has a distinctive feature that is different from other social assistance, namely the existence of Graduation. Graduation is the end of the PKH membership period because it does not have a membership component or the KPM economy is already prosperous. The facts on the ground show that there are still many KPM PKH in Buwun Mas Village who refuse to graduate, even though the economy is already prosperous. This study aims to find out how the Persuasive Communication process is carried out by PKH Facilitators and Village Apparatus in the KPM PKH Graduation process in Buwun Mas Village, how the forms and methods of Persuasive Communication are used and what are the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the success of Persuasive Communication carried out by PKH Facilitators. to KPM PKH in Buwun Mas Village. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, the research was conducted in Buwun Mas Sekotoong Village, the data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, and documentation studies, data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman method, and the data validity test technique using the triangulation method. The results of the study found that Persuasive Communication between PKH Facilitators and Village Apparatus to KPM PKH is quite frequent and occurs continuously, not limited to time, but limited to space, meaning that every P2K2 meeting, home visit, and Village Deliberation discussion about Graduation is always conveyed. The supporting factor for the success of persuasive communication between KPM PKH and PKH Facilitators is the good relationship that exists between the Facilitator and KPM PKH. As well as in the communication process that occurs, PKH Facilitators involve religious leaders and community leaders to help persuade KPM to be willing to graduate.
